At the time of writing Razer is currently holding its Razer Store Live CES live stream, where it unveiled all-new Blade 15 and Blade 17 gaming laptops that are powered by NVIDIA’s new GeForce RTX 30 series GPUs.
This means you can finally have what many consider the world’s best gaming laptop powered by a new RTX 3080. Of course that won’t be the only model you can pick up.
Every year or two Razer releases a new version of its popular gaming laptop line. And every year it offers multiple variants containing a combination of different GPU, memory, storage, and screen resolution options. This time around is no different.
Another thing that isn’t changing by much is the price. Razer’s gaming laptops are known for being high-end and pumping out some serious graphical and performance power. They’re also well-known for being quite costly.
Razer gaming laptops with 30 series GPUs will start at $1,699
When it comes to cost you’ll be looking at $1,699 if you want to get into one of Razer’ latest machines. That’s also the price for the Base model Blade 15 which comes with an NVIDIA 3060 GPU with 6GB of VRAM.
Alongside 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM, a 512GB SSD, and a 10th-gen Intel Core i710750H CPU. It also has display options at Full HD with a 144Hz refresh, or a QHD option with a 165Hz refresh.
Razer will then bump things up from there to the Advanced model which can come with varying configuration including the RTX 3070 with 8GB of VRAM, or the RTX 3080 model with both 8GB and 16GB of VRAM depending on your preferences.
The most expensive configuration of this model comes with the 16GB RTX 3080 as well as 32GB of RAM and a 4K 60Hz display.
Go all out with the new Blade Pro 17
If you really want to go all out, then the new Blade Pro 17 is the laptop you want to go for. It starts at a higher price and the most powerful model is certainly higher priced too.
But having the most powerful version of the slimmest and most stylish gaming laptop doesn’t come cheap. For $3,599, the new Blade Pro 17 comes with nearly all the same hardware as the priciest model of the new Blade 15. Except it doubles the refresh rate on the 4K screen so instead of 60Hz you can set it to 120Hz.
Razer already started pre-orders for these laptops on its own website. Though you’ll want to act fast as some models are already listed as out of stock. On January 26, Razer will also begin selling these new laptop models at select retail partners.
Which probably means Best Buy, Amazon, and other similar retailers where you can usually find Razer gear.
