Realme has come a long way from being a brand known for decent price-to-specs smartphones to a brand offering multiple products in different categories. It recently launched the Realme Watch S series, which has garnered appreciation from users.
Along with some smartphones, Realme is also gearing up to launch the second-gen Realme Watch, called the Realme Watch 2. Recently, all the key details about the Realme Watch 2 have been revealed, as the smartwatch appeared on the FCC listing.
Folks at 91mobiles spotted the Realme Watch 2 on the FCC website and thanks to a bunch of FCC documents, including a user manual, we now have all the details about the upcoming budget smartwatch.
Moreover, the Realme Watch 2 seems to be following its predecessor’s footsteps in most of the departments. Similar to the Realme Watch, the Realme Watch 2 will also come with a square-shaped dial.
There is a power button on the right side of the watch. Live images of the Realme Watch 2 reveal that the device may come with silicon straps.
The FCC documents also give us a peek into the Realme Watch 2’s UI, including its color display, Settings menu, and About page. It carries the model number RMW2008 and will come with Bluetooth 5.0.
Realme Watch 2 will come with a 1.4-inch TFT color display sporting 320×320 resolution
Talk about some key specifications, the Realme Watch 2 will sport a 1.4-inch TFT color display. It will have 320×320 pixel resolution, which is decent considering the price-category this watch will target.
Under the hood, the watch will be juiced by a 305 mAh battery. There will be a circular charging dock to charge the Realme Watch 2. It won’t come with fast charging support and stuff.
Realme Watch 2 will also come with an IP68 water resistance rating. Meaning that the wearable will be good for users who swim and do water-based activities.
Moreover, the documents reveal the device will support Android 5.0 or above devices. It measures exactly 257.6×35.7×12.2mm.
The Realme Watch 2 comes with blood oxygen measurement (SpO2), 24-hour dynamic heart rate monitoring, multiple workout modes, sleep tracking, meditation mode, message notification, and music control.
This is not the first time that something about the Realme Watch 2 has appeared. Previously, the device appeared on the Realme Link app.
Now only a few key details about the upcoming Realme Watch 2 are left to be uncovered, that includes the price of the device and launch date.
But since the device has already bagged FCC certification, we assume it won’t be too long before an official announcement is made by Realme.
