Redmi 9T & Note 9T Are Official With Large Batteries & Affordable Price Tags

Redmi has announced its new mid-range smartphone, the Note 9T. In addition to that handset, the entry-level Redmi 9T has been announced as well. These two smartphones do look a bit different, and they do deliver somewhat different features.

The Redmi Note 9T is a more powerful device, without a doubt. That handset not only delivers 5G, but also a more powerful set of specs. So, that’s the phone that we’ll talk about first.

Redmi Note 9T

The Redmi Note 9T comes with relatively thin bezels, and a display camera hole in the top-left corner. Its display is flat, while a circular camera housing is placed on the back. It delivers three rear-facing cameras.

The phone does include a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom, next to a Type-C USB port. The phone is fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, which supports 5G. This is a 7nm chip.

A 6.53-inch fullHD+ DotDisplay is here, as are stereo speakers. The phone includes 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. A 5,000mAh battery is included, and it supports 18W fast wired charging.

You’ll find two SIM card slots inside of this phone, while a 48-megapixel main camera (f/1.79 aperture, 6P lens, 0.8um pixel size) is included, along with two 2-megapixel units. Those 2-megapixel cameras are depth and macro units.

The phone measures 161.96 x 77.25 x 9.05mm, while it weighs 199 grams. It comes in Nightfall Black and Daybreak Purple colors. It is splash-proof, and it will become available for purchase soon. The two variants of the device are priced at €229 and €269. Early bird prices at launch will be even lower, €199 and €249, respectively.

Redmi 9T

The Redmi 9T comes with a waterdrop display notch, and relatively thin bezels as well. Its rear camera housing looks a bit different, and its cameras are vertically-aligned. This phone also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a flat display.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 SoC fuels the phone, while a 6.53-inch fullHD Dot Drop display is included here. This phone also includes a set of stereo speakers, and an even larger 6,000mAh battery. The device does support 18W fast wired charging, and reverse wired charging.

A 48-megapixel main camera (f/1.79 aperture, 6P lens, 0.8um pixel size) is included, as are two 2-megapixel cameras, same as on the Redmi Note 9T.

The phone does come with two SIM card slots, and a separate microSD card slot. It includes 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, while an 8-megapixel camera sits on the phone’s front side.

The Redmi 9T measures 162.3 x 77.3 x 9.6mm, while it weighs 198 grams. It comes in Carbon Gray, Twilight Blue, Sunrise Orange, and Ocean Green colors. The phone will become available soon. The 64GB variant of the device comes with a €159 price tag, while the 128GB variant costs €179.
