This Is What Samsung's 65W Charger Will Look Like

We are just a few days away from the Samsung Unpacked event, which is scheduled for January 14th. And the leaks haven’t stopped yet. Because several live images of Samsung’s 65W charging adapter has been leaked.

At the event, Samsung will unveil the Galaxy S21 series along with Galaxy Buds Pro wireless earbuds as well. It is now almost certain that these upcoming Galaxy S21 series phones will not include a charging adapter inside the box.

Moreover, previous reports also indicated that the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will only support 25W fast charging. This is a downgrade because the Galaxy S20 Ultra supports 45W fast charging.

This made many Samsung fans believe that Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with faster-charging speeds. Now, it seems maybe a slight possibility.

A user in China’s second-hand market APP shared live images of a more powerful 65W charger from Samsung. This 65W fast charger carries model number TA-865.

Besides, the product information also reveals some important details about the charger. This charger is suitable for Samsung S20, Note 20 Ultra, Fold, and other mobile phones, and has the USB-C output port.

Samsung 65W charging adapter supports 5V/3A, 9V3A, 15V/3A, 20V/3.25A charging modes

As noted by MyFixGuide, this Samsung 65W charging adapter supports four charging modes, i.e. 5V/3A, 9V3A, 15V/3A, 20V/3.25A. This charger has been certified by South Korean institutions before.

However, it is unclear whether the upcoming Galaxy S21 series will support this 65W charger or not. Based on a leaker, there were plans to bring 65W fast charging support for Galaxy S21, which was later changed.

Meaning that we may have to wait till Galaxy Note 21 to see Samsung flagships support this 65W fast charger. It could be nice to see Samsung smartphones support this feature, as it can fully charge the device in 30mins.

Samsung Galaxy S21 series is all set to be unwrapped on January 14. The Galaxy S21 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 chipset, based on different regions.

Galaxy S21+ will sport a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. On the other hand, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will come with a 6.9-inch 2K display.

While the base variant of the Galaxy S21 and S21 Ultra will cost 1049 and 1399 Euros, respectively. Except for the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the Galaxy S21 and S21+ have been priced lower compared to their Galaxy S20 counterparts.
