Recently, some CAD renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.4-inch (2021) was leaked, showcasing the device in its full glory. Now, another development indicates that Samsung may be working on a mid-range Galaxy Tab S7 Lite.
Yes, the latest report by Sammobile indicates Samsung is allegedly working to revamp its Galaxy Tab S7 lineup, with a new Galaxy Tab S7 Lite tablet. However, there are chances that the new tablet could be the Galaxy Tab S8e.
When it comes to tablets, a few names pop up in our minds, including that of Samsung. The Korean OEM has managed to somehow keep the Android tablet segment alive by introducing some good tablets in the recent past.
Fast forward to now, the company is again trying to freshen up its tablet lineup with the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite or Galaxy Tab S8e and the Galaxy Tab A 8.4-inch (2021).
Coming back to the Tab S7 Lite, the tablet is expected to come in three variants, Wi-Fi-only, LTE, and a 5G-enabled model. It will carry model numbers SM-T730, SM-T735, and SM-T736B/SM-T736N, respectively.
Not much information is available regarding the upcoming tablet
At present, only the model numbers of the devices have been revealed by Sammobile. There is no other information available about the upcoming tablet.
In fact, it is also unclear whether the tablet that Samsung is allegedly working on will be called Galaxy Tab S7 Lite or the Galaxy Tab S8e. One thing Sammobile did clear is the tablet in question is indeed being worked on.
So, we can expect some more details regarding specification and features to surface on the internet soon. Another piece of confusing information is Samsung may also be working on Plus and/or XL variants of the Tab S7 Lite or Galaxy S8e.
Whatever the case may be, it definitely seems like Samsung has a lot on its plate, at least in the tablet department. Moreover, we may soon see a bunch of tablets coming on our way.
Notably, Samsung released a Lite tablet back in H1 2020 called the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. It came with Exynos 9611 and 4GB of RAM. We will definitely see a bump in specs on the Tab S7 Lite.
Besides, this also gives us more reason to believe that a sequel to it soon in the form of Galaxy Tab S7 Lite.
