It’s that time again, the time to play free games on Stadia, like Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. Starting today and moving through the entire weekend, players will have the chance to test out the Stadia free play weekend with Ghost Recon: Breakpoint.

This is not the first time that Google has put up games at no cost. The company started free play weekends with Borderlands 3 and has since added other titles over time. Granted these don’t stay free forever. But since you have access as of right now, you have about four days to check it out.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who has been wanting to test the game before purchasing it. And four days of game time is plenty of time to decide whether or not you want to keep playing it.

Stadia users can also pick up Ghost Recon: Breakpoint on sale

If a free weekend of gameplay wasn’t enough, things get even better. Because Ubisoft is having a big ole’ sale on a bunch of its games. Ghost Recon: Breakpoint is included in this sale. So anyone that plays it during the free weekend and decides they want to purchase it, will get to for a nice little discount.

You can also pick up Watch Dogs: Legion, The Division 2 Warlords of New York expansion, and other games at a discount as well. Interestingly enough though Stadia isn’t the only platform where the discounts and free weekend play are available.

According to Ubisoft, anyone on PC and console have the opportunity to play Ghost Recon: Breakpoint for free all weekend. Of course for all of those other platforms, you need to download and install the game so that’s worth keeping in mind.

The free weekend is also available on PS5 and Xbox Series X

If you’re going to check out the game on PC, the download capability started on January 19. If you’re playing on PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4, or Xbox One, the download started either the same day or on January 20.

Ubisoft simply mentions that the game would be available for console players before the free weekend started so they could take advantage of the full time frame.

In either case, you should be able to access the game as a downloadable trial demo right now to your platform of choice. And once the free weekend is over on January 25, PC and console players will get the game for up to 85% off.
