Twinkly Smart Decor introduced its new smart light home range during CES 2021. The new product line has three different products: Twinkly Line, Twinkly Flex, and Twinkly Squares.
Each product merges home decor and smart home technology to provide different home decor scenarios. Twinkly’s proprietary Computer Vision mapping technology provides the smarts. With this technology, users can precisely detect the exact position of every single LED on a particular product.
Each new product has the ability to group together multiple devices, to create custom and unique looking visual effects via lighting. Of course, you get integration with voice assistants as well. Thanks to these features, users can expand their decoration ideas better than ever before, combining ambient lights with custom creations.
All products in the new Home Range feature Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. Further control is possible via the free Twinkly App (for iOS and Android). Twinkly products also support Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, and Razer Chroma RGB.
Twinkly Line
The first new product is Twinkly Line which is an LED strip lighting comprising of a 100-pixel RGB LED strip, and a 100-pixel RGB LED strip extension. The Line provides users with the creative possibility to make customized ambient lighting throughout their home and outdoor living spaces. I can definitely see this being quite useful for outdoor living spaces and setting color output to match the festive seasons.
Twinkly Flex
The next product is Twinkly Flex which is a flexible LED tube light. It comprises a 200-pixel RGB LED flex tube, that can be utilized in unlimited ways. The Flex provides users with the creative possibility to make customized holiday/occasion decor, game room decor, and more. This product has a lot of appeal for a variety of users and use scenarios. Game rooms, bedrooms, Vlogging spaces for lighting are some uses that pop into mind.
Twinkly Squares
Last product is Twinkly Squares which are smart LED panels for the connected home. The product group comprises a 64-pixel RGB LED panel, available in bundles of 9 or 16 panels. This product is the one I think will get the most traction since you can create an LED wall with your choice of colors and patterns. The company claims that this system can connect with other products to create some really cool looking wall art effects.
All these three products with customizable LED lights offer unlimited combinations of colors and patterns. This should give consumers the ability to customize their holiday and home decorations via a few clicks from their smartphone.
All the products listed here are slated to launch in Q2 2021 or later. However, pricing isn’t currently available at this time.
