The Vivo X60 Pro+ is now official, and it has a lot to offer. This is Vivo’s latest flagship smartphone, which is packed with high-end hardware. The device got announced in China, but it’ll probably launch globally soon.

The Vivo X60 Pro+ combines metal, glass, and leather

In terms of the design, the Vivo X60 Pro+ is almost exactly what you’d expect, with one major difference. There’s no glass on the back, Vivo opted for “high-grade leather” instead. On top of that, it also used metal and glass on the outside.

The device comes with a curved display, and a centered display camera hole. The bezels are almost non-existent, while an in-display fingerprint scanner is included here. It’s an optical fingerprint scanner, by the way.

The back side of the phone is also curved, while the rear camera housing is quite large, and located in the top-left corner. There are two large sensors included in there, backed by a slightly smaller third sensor, and a smaller fourth unit. More on that later.

It includes a 120Hz AMOLED display, and the Snapdragon 888 SoC

The phone features a 6.56-inch fullHD+ (2376 x 1080) AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. That display offers a display aspect ratio of 19.8:9, and it gets quite bright, up to 1,300 nits.

The Snapdragon 888 SoC fuels this handset, the best processor Qualcomm has to offer. It brings along 5G support as well. The phone is equipped with 8GB / 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and it comes with 128GB / 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage.

Android 11 comes pre-installed on the phone, along with OriginOS 1.0. A 4,200mAh battery is also included here, and it supports 55W fast wired charging. Bluetooth 5.1 is a part of the package, as is a Type-C USB port.

There are four cameras included on its back, led by a 50-megapixel unit

A 50-megapixel main camera comes from Samsung, it’s the GN1 sensor. We’re looking at an f/1.57 aperture lens here, Zeiss T* coating, and both OIS and EIS support. The secondary 48-megapixel camera is the phone’s dedicated ultra-wide shooter. It is Sony’s IMX598 sensor, with 4-axis OIS, and 114-degree FoV.

The third camera is a 32-megapixel portrait unit (f/2.08 aperture, 50mm lens), while the fourth is an 8-megapixel periscope unit (f/3.4 aperture, OIS, 5x optical zoom, 60x digital zoom). A 32-megapixel camera sits on the front, and it offers an f/2.45 aperture lens.

Stereo speakers are also included in the package, by the way. The phone measures 158.59 x 73.35 x 9.10mm, and it weighs 190 grams.

The Vivo X60 Pro+ got announced in Deep Sea Blue and Classic Orange color options, both with a leather back. The two variants of the phone are priced at CNY4,998 ($772) and CNY5,998 ($926). It remains to be seen when / if the device will reach global markets.
