Carl Pei Invites You To Invest In His 'Nothing' Company

Carl Pei’s new ‘Nothing’ company has been all over the news lately. The latest piece of news will surprise you, as you can now invest in ‘Nothing’, even though it’s a brand new company and its stocks are not on the market yet.

You can invest in ‘Nothing’ company, there’s no need to wait for an IPO

As it usually goes, the community has to wait for an IPO in order to invest. When that comes around, the company in question is already flying high in terms of valuation. Well, Carl Pei decided to allow investments ahead of time, as he explained on Twitter.

You can invest in Nothing at the same price as the Series A funding went. Series A funding was led by GV (formerly known as Google Ventures), as a reminder, and the company managed to secure $15 million that way.

Well, the company has set aside $1.5 million worth of shares to be available. The interesting thing is, in only two hours following the news, Carl Pei announced that over 3,000 people already registered interest for close to $4 million.

How can you invest? Well, you have to go to the company’s official website, where you’ll see more information, and a form. You’ll need to submit your email for early access.

The investment will take place on Crowdcube

Following that, you’ll need to go to Crowdcube, and create an account there. That is the place where the investment will take place, once it goes live. You need to make sure to have a credit or debit card ready, and wait while Nothing emails you for a possibility to invest. Do note that in some regions, the investment won’t be possible. There’s more information on the site.

Carl Pei did highlight that most startups fail. He promised that the team will give it its best shot, but that you should keep that in mind. Therefore, make sure to invest what you can afford to lose, as nothing is for certain.

It’s also worth noting that Nothing bought Essential quite recently, Andy Rubin’s former company. That combination should make for some interesting products moving forward. For those of you who are wondering when will Nothing’s first product arrive, the answer is this summer, a pair of wireless headphones.
