Disney+ Will Cost Europeans More Starting Tomorrow

Disney+ is going up in price for consumers in a number of countries in Europe, and a few other regions, starting tomorrow, February 23. So if you want to get in on the cheaper price, today is the last day to do it.

The price on Disney+ is increasing, but it’s catalog will more than double starting on February 23. So you’re getting almost double the content for just a few bucks more. Which isn’t bad at all. We still believe it is one of the best streaming service values out there right now. Though we did expect to see Disney+ raise prices on its streaming service, so this isn’t a surprise, but it still does sting a bit.

Disney+ is also releasing more content in the coming weeks and months, as it has been able to reopen its studios to continue filming new content. Wandavision is currently releasing a new episode every week on Disney+, and we should see more Marvel and Star Wars content coming to Disney+ in the very near future.

Which countries are seeing price increases?

Surprisingly, the US won’t be seeing a price increase on Disney+ this time around. But don’t expect that to be the case for the next few months. Disney+ is likely to rise in the US pretty soon. Since it is still priced at $6.99/month or $69.99/year here.

Here are the countries that are seeing the price increase: Australia, Canada, Denmark, Eurozone countries, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and the UK.

The price will be about £2/€2 more expensive per month or £20/€20 per year in Europe. And around $3 per month or $30 per year in other countries.
