For PS5 owners, and fans of PlayStation in general, the upcoming Ratchet & Clank game called Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, was a game that has been highly anticipated.
It was also a game that PS5 owners were hoping would launch sooner rather than later. Well that time is coming up in just a few months now, as it has been officially confirmed to launch in June which means there should be some time for more people to get their hands on a PS5 console before the game hits store shelves.
This is also a game that will only be available on PS5. So you will need the new console to play it. Unlike some other titles which will be or are available on both PS5 and PS4. Such as Horizon Forbidden West and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will launch on PS5 on June 11
The game is still a few months away, but you’ll officially be able to play it on June 11. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart comes from Insomniac Games. Which is also the studio behind the popular Marvel’s Spider-Man releases. Most recently Miles Morales.
The game’s price also reflects what players can expect of the cost for PS5 games going forward. As the Launch Day Edition and digital Standard Edition will cost $69.99 just like Demon’s Souls.
That being said you can also splurge for the Digital Deluxe Edition if you want some of that additional DLC content. The Digital Deluxe Edition will cost $79.99, and will be available through the PlayStation Store. While you can wait to pick up either version of the game, you can also already pre-order them from right now.
Get your hands on extra in-game content
Picking up the Digital Deluxe Edition of the game is a surefire way to get some nice extra goodies. But it’s not the only way. In typical fashion for most game launches, you’ll still get some nice goodies with the Digital Standard Edition and Launch Day Edition too. You will need to pre-order them though to receive them.
As for what’s included, for the Digital Standard Edition you’ll get a set of Carbonox Armor and a Pixelizer Weapon. For the Digital Deluxe Edition, you’ll get both the armor and the weapon. In fact you get a total of five armor sets. As well as a photo mode sticker pack, 20 raritanium which is an in-game upgrade material, a digital soundtrack, and a digital artbook.
You can also pre-order the Launch Day Edition of the game, which is the disc version, and still get the same two items as the digital standard.
