Stadia's Latest Game, Little Nightmares II, Drops This Week

Little Nightmares II is going to be the newest game launching on Stadia and it’ll be here sooner than you think. Much sooner.

This afternoon Bandai Namco announced that Little Nightmares II would be arriving on Stadia on February 11. That’s in two short days. Meaning when you wake up Thursday morning, you’ll be able to dive into the new game.

Little Nightmares II is an adventure game filled with suspense-driven horror themes. As if you couldn’t guess from the title alone. You play as Mono, a little boy who is now trapped in another world. Your goal is to unravel the mysteries of the Signal Tower and save Six. Who just happens to be your companion throughout the entire adventure.

Little Nightmares II will be free for Stadia Pro members

You can check out the trailer for Little Nightmares II above. And if your interests are piqued afterwards, there’s good news. Stadia Pro members will get to access the game for free. Because it’ll be available as a Pro game to claim at no charge.

It’ll be landing the same day on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch too. So you can purchase it on any one of those consoles, or on new consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S.

If you’re not a Stadia Pro member you can still buy the game from February 11 onwards. But Bandai Namco hasn’t announced any pricing yet for the Stadia version. But you can already pre-order the Day 1 edition of the game for every other platform, where it costs $30. So expect the Stadia version to be the same exact cost.

It might be worth your time to play the first game

Not necessarily before Little Nightmares II. But at some point, it might be worth it to try out the original, Little Nightmares.

Bandai Namco says that it has sold over 3 million copies of the game worldwide. Which suggests players must have rather enjoyed it. As one would have it, you can also play the first Little Nightmares game on Stadia. It was available as a Stadia Pro game last year.

But if you missed it when it was available to claim for free, you can still pick up the Complete Edition for $30 which has extra content on top of the base game to enjoy. And who knows, if you play it now, you could beat it before the second title is released in two days.
