Google Pixel 6 Design & Size Revealed, It'll Be Larger Than You Think

Following the Google Pixel 6 Pro that leaked yesterday, here’s a look at the design of its sibling, the Pixel 6. Both of these leaks came from the same person, @OnLeaks (via 91mobiles), and both show CAD-based renders of the two phones, which means these designs are probably spot on.

The Google Pixel 6 will offer similar design to the ‘Pro’ sibling, but won’t be much smaller

That being said, the Pixel 6 will look very similar to its larger sibling. It will not even be much smaller than the Pixel 6 Pro. That is quite unfortunate for those of you who want a smaller handset.

Google has been offering smaller variants of its flagships for years now, and last year, its only “flagship” was quite compact, as it features a 6-inch display. Well, the Pixel 6 will feature a 6.4-inch display, according to the source.

The phone will measure roughly 158.6 x 74.8 x 8.9mm (11.8mm). It will have thicker bezels than the Pixel 6 Pro, though that’s not surprising considering its design and flat display. Still, those bezels do look thicker than on most flagship-grade phones these days.

The overall design will be quite similar to that of the Pixel 6 Pro. The phone will be made out of metal and glass, while that odd-looking camera strip will be included on the back.

Two cameras will be included on the back, no periscope camera

Speaking of the cameras, two will be included on the back here. The periscope camera from the ‘Pro’ model will not be a part of this phone. We’re likely looking at the main camera, and the ultra-wide unit, the same ones as on the Pixel 6 Pro. Google is finally planning to offer a new camera sensor, after using the same main camera since the Pixel 2.

A display camera hole will be included, and it will be centered, as you can see here. The power / lock, volume up, and volume down buttons will all sit on the right-hand side of this phone.

A Type-C USB port will sit at the bottom of the device, while the phone will offer a dual-tone finish, as you can see. You can check out either the images below, or the video that is embedded.

The Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are expected to launch later this year, probably in September or October.
