As per the latest report by SamMobile, Samsung is expanding the May 2021 security update for the Galaxy Note 10 series. Apart from bumping the security patch, it also brings improvements for the camera, Quick Share, and security.

Notably, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite was the first device from the Galaxy Note 10 lineup to grab the latest May 2021 security update. However, the premium phones in the lineup, i.e. the Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G are also receiving the latest update.

And as a bonus, the update is also bringing improvements for the camera of these devices. However, it is not clear from the changelog what all specific improvements this new update brings for the camera.

We assume these are general improvements. Users should not expect some major changes in the camera performance.

The new update for Galaxy Note 10 series also enhances the Quick Share feature on the devices. The update basically improves the file sharing between Galaxy devices using Quick Share.

All in all this new May update for Note 10 is a good package, and if you have received the update, you should definitely update your device.

May security update fixes some vulnerabilities affecting devices with Qualcomm chipsets. It also brings fixes for Samsung One UI 3.0 bugs as well.
