The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is tipped to succeed the Nord N10 5G. This information has been revealed by Max Jambor, as the tipster suggested that the Nord N1 5G won’t be coming.

As a reminder, Max Jambor published some rather interesting information back on February 1. He suggested that the Nord N1 5G will be the name of OnePlus’ upcoming Nord series smartphone. That device was expected to succeed the OnePlus Nord N10 5G.
Well, it seems like things have changed. The tipster now says that the Nord N1 5G name has been scrapped in favor of the Nord CE 5G name. Truth be said, this new name doesn’t sound much better, and is even more confusing.
We’re not sure what the ‘CE’ part stands for. We can take some wild guesses, but they’d probably be off, as this doesn’t trigger an immediate thought that is directly in line with OnePlus’ lineup. We’ll have to wait for more information.
The OnePlus Nord N10 5G turned out to be a rather competent, and interesting smartphone. That device doesn’t break the bank, not even close, and it will be interesting to see what will OnePlus deliver with its successor.

The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is expected to be a budget smartphone, just like its predecessor. The Nord N100 didn’t really leave a great impression, but the Nord N10 5G surely did, as you can see in our review.
The OnePlus Nord N10 5G got announced at the end of October last year. It became available almost a month after its launch. Its successor will probably arrive in Q4 this year as well, which means there’s still plenty of time for rumors and leaks.
It will be interesting to see what this phone has to offer, but most consumers that are interesting in the OnePlus Nord lineup are probably awaiting some information on the OnePlus Nord 2. We presume the OnePlus Nord’s successor will use that name. That phone is expected to arrive in July or August.
