Galaxy Tab A7 Lite Price & Specs Leak Ahead Of Launch

It’s no secret that Samsung is working on multiple new tablets, including the entry-level Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. This device has been doing rounds on the internet for several weeks now. We already know a lot about the new tablet, thanks to numerous leaks and certification listings. Now, with possibly just days remaining for its launch, a new leak has bared it all as far as its price and specs are concerned.

New leak reveals price and spec details of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will reportedly feature an 8.6-inch IPS LCD screen with a 1340 x 800 pixels resolution. It is powered by the Mediatek MT8768N processor, which is the Helio P22 chipset. It has four high-performance CPU cores operating at 2.3GHz and four power-efficient cores operating at 1.8GHz. The tablet gets 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB via a MicroSD card.

The upcoming Samsung tablet will feature stereo speakers and support Bluetooth 5.0. It will run Android 11 out of the box, possibly with One UI 3.1 on top. There’s an 8-megapixel camera at the back but the tablet doesn’t get an LED flash.

The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite packs a 5,100mAh battery which should do a decent job to run the device for a full day on moderate usage. Fast charging speed, if any, is not known though. That said, earlier rumors suggest the device will offer 15W fast charging support.

The whole package reportedly weighs around 366 grams. A TENAA certification in China earlier this month had revealed that the tablet will measure 212.5 x 124.7 x 8mm in dimension.

Samsung will offer its new budget tablet in both Wi-Fi as well as LTE variants. The Wi-Fi model reportedly costs €147 while the LTE model will set you back by €174. According to the source, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will break cover in May 2021, i.e. this month itself, although there’s no information about when the device may go on sale.

Support pages for the tablet, both Wi-Fi-only and LTE variants, have already gone live on official Samsung websites in various regions. So if there’s any truth in the latest claim, then we might get an official announcement from Samsung soon. The more expensive Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, which may actually end up being called the Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite, may also launch alongside this tablet. We will keep you updated as and when more information emerges.
