Samsung has finally decided what to call its upcoming tablet, it seems. According to the new report, the device will be called the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE. The company apparently decided to add the ‘FE’ branding to the tablet, based on the Google Play Console information.
This tablet changed so many names thus far that it’s hard to keep track. We’ve seen quite a few rumors floating around, and it seems like this is the name that the company will go with.
The upcoming Samsung tablet said to sport ‘Galaxy Tab S7 FE’ name
This tablet was supposed to be called the ‘Tab S7 Lite’ at first. Then it was rumored under the ‘Tab S7+ Lite’ name. Following that, the ‘Tab S7 XL Lite’ name surfaced. Well, it seems like the fourth one is the one Samsung will actually use, the ‘Tab S7 FE’.
As most of you know, the Galaxy S20 FE smartphone managed to be quite a success for the company. If this tablet ends up being called the Tab S7 FE, it will become the very first tablet from the company to use the ‘FE’ branding.
Now, when it comes to the tablet itself, we already know what it will look like, thanks to previous leaks, and the image Google Play Console shared (shown below this paragraph). Its bezels will be thick enough to hold it, while the device will support the S Pen stylus. It will also be quite thin.
The Snapdragon 750G is tipped to fuel this tablet
The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 750G, allegedly, while it will ship with Android 11 out of the box. This tablet is said to include 4GB of RAM, which does seem a bit low, to be quite honest. We’ll see if there’s any truth to that.
Samsung will also offer 128GB of storage on the inside, and that storage will likely be expandable. The device is expected to launch in five color options, black, blue, green, rose gold, and silver.
We’re not sure when will the device arrived, but it already visited Bluetooth SIG and the FCC, so it’s likely coming soon.
