Galaxy Watch 4 Series Tipped To Arrive With Wear OS, Alongside The Z Fold 3

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch Active 4 are right around the corner, and a new report is claiming they’re coming alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3. It also claims that both devices will ship with Wear OS out of the box, not Tizen.

As most of you know by now, the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, and S21 FE are all rumored to arrive at the same time. Samsung will allegedly hold an Unpacked event in August in order to announce them all, instead of the next-gen Galaxy Note smartphone. The Galaxy Note is not coming this year, at all.

The Galaxy Watch 4 series may launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 & S21 FE

That being said, the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch Active 4 may join in on the fun, based on this report. If that ends up happening, this will truly be a mega launch event for Samsung. It is even without the wearables, this only brings some more flair to it.

That being said, the Galaxy Watch 4 is expected to arrive in 42 and 46mm variants. The Galaxy Watch Active 4 will probably launch in 40 and 42mm variants. It is noted that non-invasive blood sugar measuring sensor will not be included on either device.

As most of you know by now, Samsung opted not to launch a new Galaxy Note smartphone this year. The company is going to hit more aggressively with foldables, as the Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are supposed to replace the Galaxy Note.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to serve as the Galaxy Note replacement

Well, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is the main phone that is expected to serve as its replacement. That device offers a large display when unfolded, and will support the S Pen stylus. A special stylus will be released for the Z Fold 3, by the way.

It is also worth noting that while the device will support a stylus, you won’t be able to dock it inside the phone. Samsung will release a case for that purpose, though, at least one. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 will certainly be stars of Samsung’s event, but the Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch Active 4 will certainly get some attention as well.
