Samsung may have found a way to solve the ‘crease’ issue, as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are tipped to do a lot better in that regard. This information comes from Ice Universe, a well-known tipster.
Samsung may have found a way to hide the ‘crease’ on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3
In his first tweet, the source said that Samsung made “significant progress” in solving the crease issue of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. In a response to that tweet, he said that “you can’t see their creases”.
If that is true, it would be a huge improvement. The crease is still very much visible on the Galaxy Z Fold 2. It’s not as bad as on the first-gen model, but still, it’s there, and it’s hard to miss.
It’s hard to believe that the crease won’t be visible on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. On the other hand, Ice Universe is usually spot on with his information. Is it possible that Samsung made so much improvement this time around?
Most people will be more than happy if the crease is less visible than on the Galaxy Z Fold 2. If Samsung somehow managed to amend the issue altogether, that would be amazing, and quite surprising.
Both foldables are tipped to launch in August
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are coming in August, if the rumors are to be believed. The two phones are expected to launch alongside the Galaxy S21 FE, Watch 4, and Watch 4 Active.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is tipped to feature an under-display camera, and support the S Pen stylus. A new S Pen will be released for the phone, though you won’t be able to dock it inside the phone. You’ll need a case for that.
Both the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 surfaced already, though we’re not entirely sure those leaks were accurate. It’s possible they were. More information will follow in the coming weeks / months, as we’re still some time away from the rumored launch.
