It is no hidden fact that Samsung and Microsoft are closer than ever. And taking this partnership to the next level, Samsung has now released a Galaxy Buds app for Windows 10.
This Galaxy Buds app for Windows 10 will be available via the Microsoft Store. It will help the owners of Samsung Galaxy Buds to easily pair and control the features of the truly wireless earbuds.
Samsung recently launched the SmartThings application for Windows 10 on the Microsoft Store. As per a report by 9To5Google, you will now be able to manage your Galaxy Buds using this new app on your Windows 10 machine.
Notably, this Galaxy Buds app is full of features. Once connected, this app will show you the battery levels of each earbud along with the case.
The user interface of the Galaxy Buds app for Windows 10 is similar to what you would find on a Samsung smartphone. You can use this Buds app on a Windows 10-powered Samsung laptop, a custom PC, or any device supporting Bluetooth.
The Galaxy Buds app is only compatible with Galaxy Buds Pro at the moment
There is a caveat though. The newly introduced Galaxy Buds app only supports Galaxy Buds Pro at the moment. The options for Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Buds+ are greyed out.
The good thing is Samsung notes the support for Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Buds+ soon. Talking about the features, the app shows the controls for ANC (Active Noise Cancellation).
Moreover, you can also adjust the equalizer and even update the software of your Galaxy Buds. There are options to enable or disable touch commands and voice detection as well.
Other features also include the option to reset the earbuds and check the version of the software installed. However, do note that these features are currently available for the Galaxy Buds Pro only.
Overall, this Galaxy Buds app is a whole package and a treat for Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro users, as most people are working/studying from home. So, you have all the settings and features related to your Galaxy Buds Pro at your disposal right on your Windows 10 PC.
Additionally, it also provides you more options than Windows 10 Bluetooth manager, which simply allows you the option to connect it via Bluetooth.
