Samsung might be just weeks away from the official launch of the Galaxy Watch 4 series but it is seemingly not done with the previous generation yet. The company has partnered with Catalan jewelry designer Tous for a special edition of the Galaxy Watch 3.
The new Galaxy Watch 3 Tous Edition is based on the Wi-Fi-only variant of the 41mm model of the watch and packs the same internals. However, it comes with a slightly tweaked design. It is available in black and pink (rose gold) color variants and gets matching silicone wrist straps embossed with the Tous bear logos aligned in a grid. The watch also comes pre-loaded with 18 unique Tous wallpapers.
This isn’t the first time Samsung has collaborated with Tous. Back in March 2019, the two companies had partnered up to launch a limited edition of the original Galaxy Watch.
Galaxy Watch 3 Tous Edition: price and specifications
Samsung won’t be selling the Galaxy Watch 3 Tous Edition. Instead, it will be exclusively available through the jeweler’s stores. You can buy one online in several European countries as well as the US. The watch will get the same after-sales support from Samsung as the standard edition though.
As for the price, this special edition watch will set you back by €390 in Spain, €400 in Germany, €400 in Portugal, £350 in the UK, and $495 in the US. For reference, the standard 41mm Galaxy Watch 3 (Wi-Fi) is currently selling for just $250 in the US, where Samsung is running a promo (MSRP is $400). It also costs only €320 in European countries and £300 in the UK.
The added asking price of the Tous Edition is because of its fashion aspects. You aren’t getting any new features or additional accessories. It’s the same Exynos 9110-based Tizen-powered watch with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. The watch features 5ATM + IP68 dust and water resistance and MIL-STD-810G military-grade durability. It comes with 43 hours of promised battery life, NFC and GPS support, and tons of health features.
