Samsung has decided to show off all sorts of interesting tech, including a triple folding display, an under-display camera, and so on. This happened during the Display Week 2021 exhibition, as we reported yesterday. Well, now Samsung Display shared a new video which shows off its triple folding display, and other technology.

Do note that Samsung showed off some concepts during this event, which is what you’re seeing here. The company showed off a triple folding display, a 17-inch foldable laptop concept, new under-display camera technology, and more. You can see all of that in the video below.
In this video, the company refers to the triple folding display as the “S-Foldable”. You can actually see it in action here. It does look quite futuristic, a part of it actually offers a see-through display, it would seem.
Under-display camera is a part of Samsung’s teaser as well
The under-display camera is presented on a foldable laptop that we mentioned earlier. The company also boasts about the OLED technology and “OLED Sync”, basically hinting it’s superior to “conventional” tech.
On top of everything shown here is a device with a slidable display as well. That is another form factor that Samsung is expected to bring to life in the near future. OPPO already showed off its rollable smartphone concept, while LG was supposed to, before it was announced LG Mobile is shutting down.
A “Portable Display” is also coming from the company
The “Portable Display” is also mentioned and shown here, that is the last piece of technology shown in the provided video. Samsung is hyping up the future of devices thanks to some innovative display tech.
Some of this tech is closer to being used on Samsung devices than others. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is rumored to include an under-display camera. It won’t be the first smartphone with such a camera, though.
Samsung may also release a smartphone with a rollable aka slidable display in 2021 or 2022. We’re not sure when the triple folding display is coming, but the company is obviously working on it. The same goes for a foldable laptop.
