Amazon Prime Day 2021 Is Happening June 21-22

Amazon has made it official, Prime Day 2021 is happening on June 21 and 22.

That’s about three weeks earlier than usual. Typically, Prime Day takes place in the middle of July, but Amazon decided to do it earlier this year so that it could be part of its Q2 earnings instead of Q3. And that would mean before the end of June. So here we go with June 21 and 22.

It’s once again a two-day event, though as usual, Prime Day deals start well before then. In fact, they start today. There are already a number of deals that you can pick up, if you’re a Prime Member. Like many of the Fire TVs from Toshiba and Insignia which are hugely discounted right now. Most of Amazon’s Echo and Fire TV devices are also on sale. Some are at their lowest prices ever.

Amazon has said that they will have over two million items on sale globally for Prime Day, across all of its categories.

It’s like Black Friday in June

It used to be known as “Black Friday in July”, but now it’s in June. It’s a good time to shop, even though it is well ahead of back to school season. But you can typically find some really great deals here. Sometimes even cheaper than what they will be on Black Friday, nearly five months later.

Of course, Amazon’s competitors will also be out with their own Prime Day sales. That includes Best Buy, Walmart and others. Of course, Walmart does have Walmart+ now, so you can get free next day shipping with them too. Overall, it’s a win/win for every consumer out there.

As always, we’ll be bringing you the best Amazon Prime Day deals as they happen. So make sure to keep it locked to AndroidHeadlines, so you don’t miss a thing.
