If you’ve ever been wondering what the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 would look like with flat edges, well, this concept kind of shows it. Two concept images surfaced in Korea, showing an imaginary design of the device.
This Galaxy Z Fold 3 concept is rockin’ flat edges
These two images are based on leaked images, it is noted. The two images are more or less the same, but they represent different color variants, as you can see. The first one combines green and gold colors, while the second shows off a black-colored device.
There are three vertically-aligned cameras included on the back, while that hinge is easily recognizable. You’ll notice holes at the top of the device, which is where one of the speakers is supposed to lie.
The most notable difference between this concept design, and the leaked images are those flat edges. It would be interesting to see such a foldable device down the line, that’s for sure.
This concept design basically looks like a hybrid between the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and iPhone 12, well, kind of. The designer also envisioned rather thin bezels on the main display, which is also visible here.
The device is expected to arrive in August
Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy Z Fold 3 in August. The Galaxy Z Flip 3, Watch 4, and Watch Active 4 are tipped to arrive alongside it. The Galaxy S21 FE will, allegedly, launch separately.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be the company’s first handset to include an under-display camera. It will also be the company’s first foldable to ship with S Pen support, while the S Pen may even be included in the package.
The Snapdragon 888 will fuel the device, according to rumors. Samsung will also include top of the line specs in general here, as expected. The device will be made out of metal and glass. Android 11 will come pre-installed, along with Samsung’s custom UI.
