The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is expected to arrive in August. This handset will become Samsung’s very first smartphone to feature an under-display camera. Well, it seems like the Galaxy Z Fold 3 under-display camera may not be as impressive, as a well-known tipster hypes it down.

Max Weinbach went to Twitter to say: “don’t be excited about Fold 3 under-display camera”. That’s basically everything he said, but it’s not that difficult to guess what he means.
The camera itself may not offer bad results, in terms of pictures. It will, however, be way more visible than it should be. It was recently revealed that the camera will be visible on the display, even though it’s an under-display unit.
On the flip side, Max Weinbach may be talking about the quality as well, perhaps the image quality is not up to par either. We’ll have to wait and see. Regardless, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 under-display camera may not be as great as some of you are hoping.
The device will become official in August
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 has been all over the news lately. Information about the phone has been popping up left and right. The same goes for the Galaxy Z Flip 3, actually. Those are the two foldable smartphones that Samsung is expected to announce in August.
The two devices are also expected to become available in August. The Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch Active 4 are rumored to arrive alongside these foldables.
The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will not only offer an under-display camera, but it will support an S Pen stylus. Samsung is expected to announce a special S Pen for this handset, and it may even ship it with the device.
