The Huawei P50 has just appeared in a real-life image, and it’s extremely sparkly. If you take a look at the gallery below the article, you’ll be able to see the phone. We rarely see such finishes, it’s pink, but over the top sparkly.
The Huawei P50 real-life image surfaced in a sparkly pink color variant
This color variant may appear to some of you, of course, mostly women, probably. Still, chances are that this color option won’t become available globally. Such colors tend to do well in Asia, not so much outside of it. We’ll see, though.
This phone does seem to have glitter embedded on top of its pink finish, which is why it sparkles so much. Both Huawei and Leica brandings are visible on the back of this phone.
This leak also confirms the phone’s design, as it goes hand-in-hand with the previous leaks. There are two huge camera circles on the back. The top circle hosts three cameras sensors, while the bottom one hosts one (periscope) and an LED flash. A secondary LED flash seems to be placed in-between the two camera circles.
Huawei’s upcoming phone seems to be made out of metal and glass, though we won’t know for sure before it launches. It is curved on the back, towards the edges, and it does seem to be slippery, which is not surprising.
The Huawei P50 series may launch at the end of July
The Huawei P50 series is rumored to launch in China at the end of July. A global launch may follow in August, unless Huawei decides to do both launches at the same time.
All Huawei P50 series handsets are expected to utilize the Kirin 9000 SoC. Well, the most affordable of them may use the Kirin 9000E instead, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Huawei’s upcoming flagships will ship with HarmonyOS out of the box, Huawei’s brand new OS. HarmonyOS is based on AOSP, so it’s still Android, but it comes without Google services.
