Galaxy A52s Leaked In High-Res Renders Ahead Of Launch

Samsung‘s upcoming mid-ranger, the Galaxy A52s, has just appeared in a bunch of leaked high-res renders, revealing its design from all angles. And there’s nothing new here. The device looks identical to the standard Galaxy A52. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing though. The Galaxy A52s still sports a modern look with a punch-hole display, fairly minimal bezels, and a quad-camera setup. The rectangular camera bump gets the same colorway as the rest of the back panel.

Talking about colors, the Galaxy A52s is seemingly coming in fours hues. The leaked renders show the phone in white, violet, black, and mint green colors. That’s largely unchanged from the standard Galaxy A52, except that Samsung is introducing a mint green variant in place of the blue variant.

The rest of the design language is fairly Samsung-ish. We can see an earpiece grille up top, just above the selfie camera. The volume rockers and the power button are on the right, while the left side is clean, free from any ports or buttons. This could mean we will have the SIM tray on top, much like the standard Galaxy A52.

A 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, a down-firing speaker grille, and a microphone should sit at the bottom. The Galaxy A52s should also keep the under-display optical fingerprint scanner as a physical scanner is nowhere to be seen on the leaked renders.

A minor upgrade from the Galaxy A52

Samsung tends to launch ‘s’ iterations of its popular recently-launched mid-rangers with minor hardware upgrades. By the looks of it, the upcoming Galaxy A52s will also bring a few upgrades over the existing Galaxy A52. Most notably, we are looking at a souped-up Snapdragon 778G processor instead of the Snapdragon 720G found inside the current model. Don’t expect too many changes though. Perhaps newer and improved cameras, time will tell.

Official support pages for the Galaxy A52s recently went live on Samsung Germany’s website. So it could be one of the first countries to get the new Galaxy mid-ranger, along with South Korea. Reports suggest the device will debut with a price tag of around €450 in Europe. The frequency of leaks in recent weeks suggests an official introduction might be just around the corner. Perhaps after Samsung’s done releasing the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3, and all other products it’s going to unveil at the Galaxy Unpacked event next week. We will have to wait and see.
