Hisense Will Let You Preview Its TVs For 100 Days

Don’t you hate it when you buy a product, but decide to return it just outside of the return window? Hisense may have a deal that’s perfect for you. According to 9To5Google, the company has a deal where you can try out select Hisense TVs for 100 days.

You can test a handful of these TVs for 100 days

As expected, this deal doesn’t apply to every one of the company’s products, only a limited selection of its TVs. The only TVs that are a part of this deal are the ULED TVs. This includes the 75 inch U6G series of 4K TVs, the gamer-oriented U7G TVs with 120 Hz displays, the decently affordable U8G TVs that come in 55 inches and 65 inches, and the top-tier U9DG dual cell ULED TVs.

The company had conducted a survey, and it turns out that around 80% of the people who return their products would have loved more time to test them out. This is why Hisense is having this 100-day try-out period. Being able to try out a product for 100 days seems a bit like overkill; however, the company has faith that it will result in more satisfied customers.

If you want to take advantage of this deal, you will need to register your device within two weeks of buying it. Just know that this deal is through Hisense, not the actual retailers like Amazon or Best Buy.

These aren’t only TVs, these are Android TVs

An added benefit of picking up these TVs is the fact that they’re powered by Android TV. This platform has been popular with smart TVs for a while.

In case you don’t know what Android TV is, it’s a television operating system that lets you download apps and stream using different streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc. Imagine having a Roku stick built into your TV. You can even use Google Assistant to navigate the interface.

Not an Android TV owner? Don’t fret!

Being able to try out Hisense TVs for 100 days is great, but what if you can’t afford one of those TVs? Well, you can make your TV a smart TV with some of the new devices from companies like Anker.

The new Anker Nebula streaming dongle has just been launched by the company, and it can stream 4K HDR content straight into your TV. You’ll need to plug this small device into the wall and the TV to use it. It will give you access to the Android TV interface, which is always great to have.

Since it’s compatible with Chromecast, you can also stream content directly from a mobile device. The Anker Nebula will also upscale content to 4K resolution. This device is great for those who want to enjoy their content, though the price is a little steep compared to the competition.
