The Gamevice Is A Razer Kishi That Supports The Galaxy S22 Ultra

Gamevice has a new mobile controller and it’s basically the Razer Kishi. Scratch that, it is the Razer Kishi. Just without the Razer brand attached to it. That’s because as Android Police reports, Gamevice was actually Razer’s partner for the original Kishi controller for Android and iOS.

The Razer Kishi has been our favorite mobile controller to date. Mostly because it’s just a damn good controller. But also specifically because of its compact design allowing for supreme portability. We gave it a glowing review as it checked all the right boxes for us. So, why buy this one from Gamevice instead of Razer’s actual controller? Well, there are a couple of reason why you might want to do so.

The Gamevice mobile controller is technically cheaper

Although the Razer Kishi is very good, it normally retails for $80. When it first came out it was $99. So the full price has dropped some. The Gamevice mobile controller however, retails for $59.99. So right off the bat you pay less money. And that’s as good of a reason as any to at the very least consider it. Especially since it’s the exact same controller in just about every way.

That being said, the Razer Kishi is actually available at a lower price right now. At least on Amazon. You can currently pick it up for $45. So you’ll save about $15 if you go with the official Kishi instead of the Gamevice for now.

The Gamevice is compatible with the Galaxy S22 Ultra

One drawback with the Kishi is the compatibility with devices. It is a universal controller so it works with most devices on Android. The keyword there though is “most.” The way the controller works is that it has these elastic bands that stretch to allow it to fit larger devices. But phones like the Galaxy S22 Ultra were just a little too big.

The Gamevice however supports the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Ultra. Which means they should also fit any Android phones that were the same size. Provided the charging port is USB-C and it sits in the middle and not off to the side. You can grab both the Razer Kishi and the Gamevice on Amazon right now if you want to level up your mobile gaming experience.
