Motorola Razr 2022 Foldable Will Include A 144Hz Display

The Motorola Razr 2022 will feature a 144Hz display. This is something that Motorola by listing the device on its official website. Even though the materials are in Chinese, this listing does reveal more info about the phone.

The Motorola Razr 2022 will include a 6.7-inch 144Hz OLED display

As expected, the device will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display, and it will surprisingly offer a 144Hz refresh rate. We’ve expected a 120Hz display, so this is a surprise. That display will also support HDR10+ content.

The phone will also include a secondary display, which will be larger than last year. We’re guessing it will be over 2 inches in size, but we still don’t know the details.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC has also been confirmed by the company. The device will be available in both 8GB and 12GB RAM models. The 8GB RAM models will arrive in 128GB and 256GB storage flavors. The 12GB RAM unit will include 512GB of storage.

A 50-megapixel camera will lead the pack, and utilize pixel binning

5G will, of course, be supported, while the phone will include three cameras. A 50-megapixel main camera (OIS, 4-in-1 pixel binning, 2.0um pixel size) and a 13-megapixel ultrawide unit (4-in-1 pixel binning, 1.12um pixel size, 121-degree FoV) will sit on the back.

A 32-megapixel selfie camera (4-in-1 pixel binning, 1.4um pixel size) will also be a part of the package. That camera will sit on the main display, and it will be centered at the top. We’re looking at a hole punch camera here, by the way, not an under-display one.

The device’s design is also shown in the provided listing. Both the company’s logo and ‘razr’ branding will be present on the back. Its rear cameras will sit one next to the other, in the top-left corner.

This smartphone will become official on August 11 in China. It will arrive alongside the Motorola X30 Pro and S30 Pro. The Motorola X30 Pro will also include the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and be quite powerful.
