Hello, dear gamer, did you know that you can try out Amazon Luna for free right now? Well, you can. As reported by 9To5Google, Amazon is giving away a two-month free trial of the Luna cloud gaming service to anyone that wishes to give it a chance. Whether you’re sad about the Google Stadia shutdown or you simply wanted to finally see what all the fuss is about with cloud gaming, this is a perfect opportunity to test the technology.
If there’s one downside to the offer, it’s that it will only be open to US residents. Because Luna is still only available in the US. If that isn’t a requirement that will hold you back, the offer is available now and can be claimed over on Amazon.
Amazon gives you a free two-month trial to the Luna+ channel
One thing that doesn’t seem clear is whether or not this offer is available to people who already subscribe to Luna. Also worth noting is that the trial only gives you access to the Luna+ channel. But there are other channel options. Like the Ubisoft+ channel for $17.99 a month or the Jackbox Games channel for $4.99 a month.
There’s also the Prime Gaming channel which is included with a Prime membership. Amazon doesn’t seem to mention anything about an end date for the offer. So we’d recommend trying to set things up sooner rather than later. If you decide to keep the service after the trial is over, then your subscription bumps up to $9.99 a month.
Amazon has given out free trials of the service before. In fact it offered one just before this new one went live. But it’s only ever lasted for a week. And although a week is probably ample time to decide if you like the service enough to keep it, two months is a lot longer and gives you more time to enjoy it.
