The global Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro models have now made one step closer to launch. Well, we can technically say several steps, as the two devices got certified in several places.
The global Xiaomi 13 & 13 Pro make one step closer to launch
Both Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro were spotted on NBTC and EEC, while the ‘Pro’ model also surfaced on BIS. As most of you know, both of these devices launched in China already, last month. Their global launch will follow next month.
The two phones have appeared on NBTC and EEC with model numbers ‘2211133G’ and ‘221032G’. The ‘Pro’ model also surfaced on BIS aka Bureau of Indian Standards.
Global units will be very similar to the Chinese models, in every way
Unfortunately, these listings didn’t really share any specific info about the device. Considering that they already launched in China, however, we know what to expect. Global units may get different RAM + storage versions, and will come with global software, but other than that, we’re looking at the same phones.
Both devices are fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and the same will be the case in global markets. They go up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage.
Both phones utilize OLED displays, but they are different. The Xiaomi 13 comes with a 6.36-inch fullHD+ panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Xiaomi 13 Pro includes a 6.73-inch LTPO OLED with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The ‘Pro’ model does support faster charging
The Xiaomi 13 supports 67W wired and 50W wireless charging in China, while the ‘Pro’ model offers 120W wired, and 50W wireless charging. Chances are the same will be the case globally. Do note that both phones also support 10W reverse wireless charging.
They both come with a set of stereo speakers, and both ship with Android 13. A global version of MIUI 14 will be included globally, while both phones are also IP68 certified.
The Xiaomi 13 is more of a squarish phone compared to the ‘Pro’ model, and it has flat sides. You can read more about the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro in our initial announcements, if you want.
