Samsung will offer Galaxy S23 buyers plenty of choices when it comes to official protective cases. It is readying a wide range of cases in a plethora of colors for its next-gen flagships. We have seen a few of those in leaks in the past, including a leather case. A couple more have been pictured recently, thanks to the ever-reliable Evan Blass. The reputed tipster has shared images of what appears to be the silicone case and the Smart View Wallet Case for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. As the name suggests, the latter is a flip cover featuring a cardholder and a small rectangular opening on the front leaf for Always On Display (AOD).

The leaked imagery shows these two Galaxy S23 Ultra cases in four different colors. As suggested by a mountain of leaks over the past couple of months or so, Samsung will apply some of those shades to the device itself. We are expecting the phone to come in black, cream, green, and pink colors. As usual, the company has readied some fancy names for these shades. But for consumers, it’s more about the color than the name.
The official protective cases will likely get additional color options, though. In fact, we can already see the silicone cover in a couple of blue hues. There should be a host of other options so everyone has something that they like. Speaking of options, you’ll get plenty of them when picking up a case design too. If leaks are anything to go by, Samsung will offer a Clear Case, Clear Gadget Case, Rugged Gadget Case, Silicone Grip Case, Clear View Cover, Frame Cover, and a Transparent Cover Ultrafine for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra.
Some of these covers will be exclusive to select models, but the majority should be available for the entire Galaxy S23 lineup. We may soon start seeing these covers in retail stores. Samsung will launch its next-gen Galaxy flagships on February 1. It will be the company’s first major in-person Galaxy Unpacked event since the Galaxy S20 launch in early 2020. The Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S22 were unveiled through virtual events due to the COVID-19 restrictions. With just over two weeks to go for the upcoming event, we expect Galaxy S23 leaks to pick up intensity in the coming days. We will keep you updated.
