New Meizu flagship design is here with flat sides, thin bezels & more

Meizu is planning to come back with a new flagship this year, and its design has just surfaced. The phone’s name will allegedly be the Meizu 20 or Meizu 20 Pro, and you can check out its design in the provided image below.

A new Meizu flagship is coming, and its design has just surfaced

This is just a sketch, but a rather detailed one. The phone will seemingly feature a flat display, with a centered display camera hole. Its bezels will be quite thin, while all the physical buttons will sit on the right-hand side.

The sides will be flat, all around the phone, while the corners will be rounded. You can also see a Type-C port at the bottom, along with the phone’s main speaker.

There are four rings on the back of the phone, and they could all be there to house the phone’s cameras. On the flip side, one of them could be reserved for an LED flash. Those sensors don’t seem to be too large, though.

How do we know the phone is actually coming? Well, a teaser video surfaced last month, kind of confirming the phone. Meizu also mentioned it’s working on a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphone, so… there you have it.

Meizu did not launch a (flagship) phone last year

The last flagship this company announced was the Meizu 18, which arrived back in 2021. It featured the Snapdragon 888 back there. We’re not sure when will the Meizu 20 arrive, but it’s coming this year for sure.

As some of you may know, Meizu got acquired by Geely last year. That may actually be good news for Meizu fans, as Geely seems to have huge plans for the brand. Meizu was once quite popular, but it took a couple of wrong turns, and it basically vanished for years.
