The first smartphone with 240W charging will launch at MWC 2023, and it’s coming from Realme. We already guessed it will be the Realme GT Neo 5, when Realme confirmed its smartphone will be the first to offer such fast charging.

Well, Pricebaba has just shared a new report, confirming that the phone will launch at MWC 2023. Rumors have been saying it will launch in February, and it seems like that will happen towards the end of the month, when MWC 2023 kicks off.
For those of you who are out of the loop, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona will kick off on February 27, and end on March 2. The source claims that it got the Realme GT Neo 5 info from “industry sources”.
That device also got certified by TENAA quite recently, and that certification revealed both its specs and design. You can check out the phone via the image below. It will have a large camera island on the back, in the top-left corner. A display camera hole will be centered on the front, and you’ll also notice the Realme logo on the back.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will fuel the device, while up to 16GB of RAM will be included
In terms of specs, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will fuel the phone. The device will include a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 2722 x 1240 resolution. That display will offer a 144Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Android 13 will come pre-installed on the phone, along with Realme UI 4.0. A 50-megapixel main camera will be backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. A single 16-megapixel unit will sit on the front.
Realme will include up to 16GB of RAM inside of this phone. There will also be two battery models, it would seem. The one with a 5,000mAh battery will offer 150W charging and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage. The model with a 4,600mAh battery will offer 240W charging and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 flash storage.
