The Vivo X90 series may launch globally on February 3. This information comes from Paras Guglani, a tipster, who also shared retail boxes of both the Vivo X90 and Vivo X90 Pro. You can check those images out in the gallery below the article.

What’s interesting here is that the Vivo X90 Pro+ box is not present. That is the company’s most powerful smartphone, and it will definitely make its way to global markets. It’s possible its box simply did surface, or Vivo may play around with the global model names.
It’s always possible that the Vivo X90 Pro+ will be renamed to Vivo X90 Pro+ globally, to keep the naming scheme from the previous series. As most of you know, the Vivo X80 Pro was the most powerful handset from the last series.
It remains to be seen, of course. The model with a 1-inch camera sensor (the Vivo X90 Pro+), will definitely see the light of day outside of China. That is the most exciting phone in the series, that’s for sure.
So, February 3 is said to be the global launch date, but the tipster claims that pre-sales will commence on January 27. That is easily possible, though it’s different info from the one that surfaced at the end of December last year.
The Vivo X90 Pro+ is the most powerful handset in the series
All three Vivo X90 models that launched in China are quite powerful, but the Vivo X90 Pro+ stands apart. That handset features a 1-inch camera sensor, a 50.3-megapixel unit. That is the same camera sensor Xiaomi used in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Xiaomi 13 Pro.
The Vivo X90 Pro+ also comes with ZEISS optics, and three more cameras on the back. A 48-megapixel ultrawide unit is also included, as is a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. A 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera can also be found on the back of the device.
This handset comes with a 6.78-inch QHD+ LTPO4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 fuels the phone, while the device includes 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. UFS 4.0 flash storage is also included.
