If you’re using a timer on your phone frequently, and you’re bored by it… well, this may just be the app for you. The app in question is called ‘Mouse Timer’, and it’s actually fun to use.
Mouse Timer is a fun countdown timer app for Android
Once you select the desired countdown time, a mouse will appear on the screen, and start snacking on some apples. You’ll see a bunch of apples on the screen, and each of his bites is equal to 1 second. The last in the line of these apples is actually a slice of cheese, every time.
It’s a really nice, visual countdown timer. This app does have one drawback, though. You get 9 different countdown times here. In minutes: 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, and 60. You cannot set a manual countdown time, which is a bummer.
The vast majority of people won’t need to do that, though. These are the most-used countdown times either way, so chances are they’ll be enough for you.
For those of you who don’t leave your phone’s screen on while using a timer, this may be entirely useless. For those of you who do, however, well, it does represent a really nice change compared to a regular timer.

There are a number of use cases for this, from cooking to timing your sets in the gym. The app does even allow you to choose between two different mice, just in case you don’t like the default one.
Mouse Timer is a free app, and it doesn’t come with ads or anything of the sort. It has a really high score in the Play Store, as it’s fun to use, and quite simple at the same time.
