UPDATE: The OnePlus Ace 2V launched in the meantime, and thus confirmed the OnePlus Nord 3 design and specs. You can read more about it here.
ORIGINAL ARTICLE: The OnePlus Nord 3 specs have surfaced, following the phone’s design leak. This is not the first time we’re seeing its specifications, but the info is not the same as before.
The OnePlus Nord 3 specs may be different than reported last month
This time around, the info comes from Nithin Prasad. He claims that the OnePlus Nord 3 will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz OLED display. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC will fuel the device, it seems.
A 5,000mAh battery was mentioned by the tipster, and the same goes for 80W wired charging. He also noted that OnePlus will use LPDDR5X RAM here, but UFS 3.1 flash storage, not UFS 4.0.
The phone will feature three rear cameras, that much is certain
He also talked about the phone’s cameras. A 64-megapixel main camera (OIS) will be backed by an 8-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. We presume that an 8-megapixel unit could be an ultrawide camera. That 2-megapixel camera is probably a macro unit. He also noted that a 16-megapixel selfie camera will also be a part of the package.
Now, this info does differ from the information shared in mid-February. Back then, Debayan Roy from Gadgetsdata said that the phone will feature a 6.5-inch fullHD+ display, a Dimensity 8100 Max or Dimensity 8200 SoC, and 100W wired charging. He also mentioned a completely different camera setup.
One of these two tipsters is wrong, and who knows, maybe both of them are. We’ll have to wait and see what will happen, but both sets of specs do seem plausible, so… your guess is as good as ours.
We also know what the phone will look like
The OnePlus Nord 3 design surfaced quite recently. The phone will seemingly have flat sides, and a flat display. A centered display camera hole will also be included, and so will the alert slider.
The phone will include three cameras on the back, and will have two separate camera islands. We presume that OnePlus will combine metal and glass here, though that doesn’t have to be the case.
We still don’t know when will OnePlus make this phone official, but it’s coming.
