It seems like OPPO has confirmed that its flagship Find X6 flagship series will launch this month. The news has been shared by Abhishek Yadav, a tipster, via Twitter, and it contains what seems to be OPPO’s official poster.
The OPPO Find X6 flagship series will launch in March
At the time of writing this article, that poster is not yet available on the company’s Weibo page. So I’m not sure where the tipster got it, but it sure seems official.
Regardless, this poster does confirm that the Find X6 series will launch in March. What it does not share is an official launch date. Also, this is a China launch, but those phones will make their way to global markets, as did their predecessors.
The global launch event could actually also be held in March, but we’re still not sure. Who knows, maybe OPPO ends up hosting both events on the same day, that would be nice to see. In any case, we’re waiting for more info from the company.
Now, in regards to the poster itself. On it, you’ll see an image that reminds me of a bicycle tire, to be quite honest. That was my first thought when I’ve seen it, but it represents something else entirely.
The devices will include a circular camera island on the back, it seems
This is likely the phone’s circular camera island on the back, which will seemingly have leaning lines around it, as shown here. This does point towards a camera-focused smartphone, but that’s exactly what we expected.
OPPO has once again partnered up with Hasselblad, and the Find X6 Pro will most likely include a 1-inch camera sensor. It will utilize the same camera sensor as the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Vivo X90 Pro, the Sony IMX989. Speaking of which, both the Find X6 and Find X6 Pro are expected to launch.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is expected to fuel the ‘Pro’ model, while OPPO will almost certainly utilize LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. The phone will offer immensely fast charging too, and probably fast wireless charging as well.
Other high-end specs are expected as well. We won’t have to wait for long, it seems, as the Find X6 series is coming later this month.
