The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is set to become the new display brightness king

As a reminder, the current champion in that regard is the OPPO Find X6 Pro. OPPO’s flagship offers a screen brightness of 2,500 nits. It uses the Samsung E6 display, by the way. It is followed by the iPhone 14 Pro (2,000 nits), Xiaomi 13 Pro (1,900 nits), and the Vivo X90 Pro+/HONOR Magic5 Pro (1,800 nits).

Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship won’t use Samsung’s display, however. Xiaomi has developed this display in collaboration with China Star. We’re looking at the C7 screen, which is China’s first ultra-clear LTPO screen.

Ice Universe, a well-known tipster, claims that this display “leads the world’s top products in power consumption, peak brightness, viewing angle, luminous efficiency, eye protection and other fields”.

Its battery will last for additional 60 minutes after it hits 1% charge

Another interesting XIaomi 13 Ultra tidbit got confirmed. The phone will be able to last for 60 minutes with 1% of battery charge left. Xiaomi says that this feature comes thanks to the Surge P2 chip and the Surge G1 chip.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will become official tomorrow. The company will not only launch it in China, but globally as well. It will share some specs with its ‘Pro’ sibling, but it will also surpass it in some ways.

The phone’s cameras sensors already got confirmed, along with some additional details

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is confirmed to offer four cameras on the back. It will utilize a 1-inch main camera (Sony’s IMX989 sensor), along with three Sony IMX858 camera sensors. Those three cameras will be ultrawide, telephoto, and periscope telephoto units. Leica lenses will be applied to all of them.

Xiaomi is also adding variable aperture on the main camera here. That’s also a major improvement compared to the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel the device, while you’ll get both LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. Vegan leather will be included on the back of the phone, making it less slippery.

The same 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate will be used here. It will be curved. A 4,900mAh battery is tipped here, while the phone will offer 90W wired, and 50W wireless charging.
