Genshin Impact will be getting its patch 3.7 content in just a little over a week, as HoYoverse plans to release the update on May 24. That’s 9 days away from now. And players will be able to dive in next Wednesday.
As is the case with all of Genshin Impact’s patches, version 3.7 will allow players to pre-install the game data ahead of time. It’s highly recommended that you do this if you want to play as soon as things go live. If you don’t, you can still play the day of, but you’ll end up having to wait a bit until the installation is finished. And if you get excited to play the new content, chances are you want to play as soon as you can.
The other thing to remember is timing. Patch 3.7 won’t be live for Genshin Impact players right away on May 24. The patches actually tend to go live a little bit later in the day.
Genshin Impact patch 3.7 adds new cards to the TCG game mode
Last year Genshin Impact got a TCG game mode called Genius Inovkation that was launched as part of patch 3.3. Since the release of this mode, it’s been fairly popular. And new cards have been added with every patch.
The same is true with patch 3.7. Which is set to add 60 new cards for players to use. The new cards will be part of the King of Invokation Grand Prix event that comes with the patch. The event will house 4 TCG-themed mini games, where players can acquire the new cards to place in their own decks. 10 of the new cards will be characters, and include the 4 archons.
In addition to the new TCG event, there will be a new 4-star playable character. Kirara is a 4-star Dendro sword user with some, unique abilities. Patch 3.7 will be available to play on all platforms next week. In the meantime, you can check out the official trailer for it above.
