The HONOR 90 series will become official on May 29, it seems. The HONOR 90 and HONOR 90 Pro are coming, and the two phones just surfaced for the first time, ahead of the launch event.
Before we get to it, do note that these two phones are expected to launch in China first. They will arrive in global markets, and likely not long after they launch in HONOR’s homeland.
The HONOR 90 series appears in very first images ahead of launch
Having said that, if you take a look at the provided image above the article, you’ll get to see both phones. Design-wise, they won’t be all that different compared to their predecessors, the HONOR 80 series.
The HONOR 90 Pro (on the right side) will keep the rounded hexagonal design of the cameras. The HONOR 90 will have round camera islands, which will be the main differentiating point between the two phones… design-wise.
All the physical buttons will sit on the right-hand side, on both phones. The cameras will protrude on the back quite a bit, and both phones will have two separate camera islands.
We don’t really get to see their front sides here, but chances are they’ll have a centered display camera hole. We’re not sure if they’ll incorporate flat or curved displays, however, but chances are they’ll be slightly curved.
The ‘Pro’ model will include a 200MP camera, QHD+ AMOLED display & more
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is tipped to fuel the HONOR 90 Pro. The device will likely retain a 200-megapixel main camera (ISOCELL HP3 sensor). A QHD+ AMOLED display is also expected on this model, along with 90W charging.
The HONOR 90, on the flip side, will offer 66W wired charging, thus slower than what the HONOR 90 Pro has to offer. That’s basically everything we know about the device thus far. Both phones will be made out of metal and glass, most likely.
The HONOR 80 series launched about half a year ago. Yes, HONOR has a 6-month release cycle for this lineup, in case you were wondering.
