Someone managed to get ahold of these images, and they’ve been shared by MySmartPrice. You’ll get to see a bunch of shots if you check out the gallery below the article. The phone is shown in a couple of color variants here, and both renders and lifestyle images are included.
This is not the first time we’re seeing the phone, however. It also surfaced in CAD-based renders not long ago. It seems like those CAD-based renders were quite accurate as per usual.
The Motorola Razr 40 will include a display camera hole on the main, foldable display, and rather thin bezels. This is a clamshell foldable, of course, and it will have a rather small outer display.
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra will incorporate a much larger display, so this one does seem rather tiny in comparison. The company had to cut costs somewhere, and also differentiate the two offerings.
The phone will feature a vegan leather backplate, and arrive in three color variants
What’s interesting is that the phone will include a vegan leather backplate, and come in three colors. It’s coming in Cream, Olive Green, and Purple colors, it would seem. The hinge is made out of metal, of course.
This handset used to be referred to as the Motorola Razr 40 Lite, but it seems like Motorola will ditch the ‘Lite’ name. The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra used to be known as the Motorola Razr 40 Pro, and also the Razr+ 2023. The latter name is still a possibility.
We do not know what specs will the Motorola Razr 40 offer, not yet, but the phone is expected to arrive in the near future. In fact, it is rumored to launch globally on June 1. Considering that a China launch will likely come before that, chances are Motorola will introduce the device very soon.
