The OPPO Find N and Find N2 were very interesting devices. OPPO took a different approach to book-style foldable phones than basically everyone else, and it created great phones. The OPPO Find N3 is set to launch this year, and based on rumors, it will be a top-tier foldable flagship phone.
The OPPO Find N3 could launch as a top-tier foldable flagship
Rumors from Weibo claim that the OPPO Find N3 will support wireless charging. That is a feature that was missing on the Find N and Find N2. We still don’t know the exact charging speed OPPO will offer, though.
On top of that, top-notch cameras are also tipped, and the same goes for the phone’s displays and battery. No exact numbers were given this time around, though, so all we have to go on is previous rumors.
Based on those, the OPPO Find N3 will be larger than its predecessors. That will kind of cause it to lose part of its charm. It remains to be seen if OPPO will stick to a similar form factor, and offer a horizontal orientation when the phone is unfolded, like the Find N and Find N2.
There is a chance that OPPO will switch things up and release a phone that is more vertically oriented, like the Galaxy Z Fold series and pretty much all other book-style foldables, except OPPO’s current ones and the Pixel Fold.
Its displays will allegedly be notably bigger than the ones Find N & Find N2 offered
Previous rumors suggested that the phone will feature an 8-inch main display with 2268 x 2440 resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The cover display is rumored to measure 6.5 inches, while the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will almost certainly fuel the device.
OPPO will include up to 16GB of RAM inside of this phone, while you can also expect to get plenty of storage. A 4,805mAh battery was mentioned previously, as was 80W wired charging. OPPO could include 50W wireless charging here.
A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX890 unit) is rumored, along with a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera (Sony’s IMX581 sensor), and a 32-megapixel periscope camera. Two 32-megapixel selfie cameras were also mentioned, one for each of the phone’s displays.
The OPPO Find N3 could launch as early as August, despite the fact its predecessor arrived in December. We’ll see if the rumors are accurate.
