Xiaomi 14 Pro shown again with its razor-thin, uniform bezels

A well-known tipster, Ice Universe, seems to be quite excited about the Xiaomi 14 Pro. The tipster shared a render that is based on the actual design of the phone last month. Now, he’s back with another one. This Xiaomi 14 Pro render shows its razor-thin bezels, which are also uniform.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro appears yet again with razor-thin bezels, which are also uniform

You can see the device in the image provided above the article. This is not an actual leak of the phone, but the tipster seems to be convinced this is what it’ll look like. The measurements may not be entirely accurate but the bezels and the overall shape probably are.

Its display does seem to be a bit curved, which is not surprising. The bezels are really thin, and as already mentioned, uniform, which is always nice to see. That’s not something we see often on Android smartphones, but the Xiaomi 13 (regular model) offered them too.

The phone does include a display camera hole, which is centered at the top. All the physical buttons sit on the right-hand side of the phone. The corners of the device are rounded, and the same goes for the display corners.

The Xiaomi 14 series will most likely arrive in December this year, as the Xiaomi 13 series arrived in mid-December last year. Do note that we’re talking about the launch event in China. The global models are expected in Q1 2024.

The device will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC

Having said that, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will almost certainly be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. That chip will become official towards the end of the year, and the Xiaomi 14 series may be the first to include it.

A 5,000mAh battery is also rumored for the Xiaomi 14 Pro. The same goes for 120W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. Now, the phone is also tipped to retain a 1-inch camera sensor from the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Ultra.

That’s basically everything we know about the phone thus far. The Leica partnership will continue as well, so you can expect Leica’s lenses, and camera influence altogether, as is the case with the current-gen models.
