Here's what you'll get for participating in the MW III reveal event

MW III is getting a reveal event that takes place this week, and you can earn some rewards if your participate in it. The reveal event (called Shadow Siege) will take place inside of the game in MW II’s Warzone 2.0 mode. And just this afternoon Activision confirmed what the rewards will be.

Keep in mind these are all in-game rewards. So they’re nothing tangible you can use in the real world. But that doesn’t make them any less valuable if you like collecting stuff to use in the game. Especially since all of it should be transferrable to Modern Warfare III when it launches in November. It’s not quite clear yet what players will need to do if they want to earn this stuff. But since you’ll need to participate in the event, you will at the very least have to play Warzone.

Each reward will be associated with some sort of a task like getting a specific amount of kills or perhaps outlasting a certain number of players. The event will begin at 10:30am PST on August 17, which is this Thursday. It’s also unclear how long the event will last or if you can earn the rewards beyond that day.

MW III reveal event rewards include a weapon and more

 

In total there are six different rewards to pick up. This includes your staple rewards that have been made available from other events. Like calling cards and emblems. Here’s everything you can acquire if you play.

The Konni Group emblem, one Battle Token tier skip, the Crimson Sound calling card, the Serpent Slayer vehicle skin, the Gas Cannister charm, and the one everyone will be shooting for, the new weapon. Specifically the M13C assault rifle. Now, if you play MW II and have engaged with its DMZ mode, then you likely have the M13B. Another assault rifle that has persisted as one of the better guns in the game. It’s not clear if the M13C will be just as good. But it’s definitely worth finding out. And since this might be the only way to get the gun, you might want to boot up the game Thursday and play the event to earn it.
