Not too long ago, Nothing’s CEO Carl Pei announced that the company was launching its first sub-brand called CMF by Nothing. The company will sell more affordable devices under that name. Well, CMF By Nothing just launched, and here are the devices that it’s offering (via GSM Arena).
The first device is a very affordable smartwatch called the CMF Watch Pro. Next, there are the CMF Buds Pro, which will come in a unique cylindrical case. Lastly, we have a GaN charger.
CMF by Nothing just launched. Here are the devices it launched
Starting off with the CMF Watch Pro, it’s weird that the company called this a Pro wearable when there’s no regular model to compare to. This device has a 1.96-inch AMOLED display with an impressive 600+ nits of brightness and 410 x 502 resolution. That’s actually just slightly more pixels than the Galaxy Watch 5’s display. As for the refresh rate, it has a 58Hz refresh rate.
The features include GPS, running/cycling/walking/hiking tracking, heart rate sensor, blood oxygen sensor, stress tracking, and sleep tracking. It’s a well-rounded smartwatch experience. The dark gray color costs INR 4499 (about $54.04) and the metallic gray color costs INR 4999 (about $60.05).
Next, we have the CMF Buds Pro. The notable thing about these earbuds would be the charging case. It’s a hockey puck shape that definitely stands out. CMF is marketing these as a high-quality pair of earbuds regardless of their price. They have a set of LCP +PU drivers to deliver the sound.
They come with ANC, and the company claims that it’s pretty powerful. The company says that the ANC reduces 45dB of noise across a 5kHz spectrum.
As for the battery power, we’re looking at 6.5 hours on a single charge, but that’s with the ANC on. With it off, the battery life will jump to about 11 hours. Your mileage will vary, obviously. The CMF Buds Pro cost INR 3499 (about $42).
Lastly, we have the CMF Power 65W GaN charger. This charger has two USB-C ports and a USB-A port. If you’re outside of India, then you won’t be able to get this. It costs INR 2999 (about $36).
