This is the Google Pixel 8 Pro in the new Bay (Blue) Color

We’re just two days away from Google making the Pixel 8 series official, and that’s not stopping the leaks. This time, we get a good look at the new Bay color for the Pixel 8 Pro here, thanks to M. Brandon Lee, a popular YouTuber who has shared a number of images on Twitter/X.

Here in these images, we can clearly see that the Bay blue color is going to be a matte finish, similar to the black color that we saw get unboxed earlier today. We can also see that the camera module is going to be the shiny glass instead of matte. Similar to the Pixel 7 Pro from last year. And this is almost like a mirror look here, which means that it’s going to get scratched quite easily.

Google Pixel 8 Pro will go official on Wednesday

Just a couple more days until Google makes the Pixel 8 Pro official. The event will take place Wednesday morning at 10AM ET. That’s where we expect to see Google announce the Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel Watch 2. So only a couple more days until the leaks stop, for a bit. But this is definitely a really nice color for the Pixel 8 Pro.

It’s a bit lighter than what we’ve had in the past, as far as colors go for Google. Especially when it comes to Blue. Google did a more royal blue for the Pixel and Pixel XL many years ago. There was also a “Kinda Blue” Pixel 2 that was pretty pale, as well as the lighter blue for the Pixel 7a that came out earlier this year. It might not be the most popular color option this year, but it sure beats the black and white colors that we will get alongside this for the Pro model.

The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to go up for pre-orders on Wednesday, shortly after the Made by Google event.
