Samsung’s Odyssey Neo G9 57 is the company’s latest gaming monitor and it’s finally available to buy for anyone needing an upgrade. And anyone willing to spend the $2,499.99 to buy one.
Technically this went up for sale back around September 18 but at that time it was only available for pre-order. Now though the monitor has fully launched. That being said if you order one now Samsung’s website says it won’t arrive until October 24 so you’re still waiting a little for it to show up. And this is likely because pre-orders are being taken care of first. Speaking of pre-orders, if you placed a pre-order for the monitor after they went live you should have a $500 credit coming your way.
This can be used on Samsung’s website for essentially anything. Whether that be a new pair of headphones, some new storage and more. The only thing you couldn’t use it for was to bring the price down of the monitor during your pre-order. If you didn’t use it immediately at that time, then Samsung should have emailed it out. So be on the lookout for it to make sure you don’t miss it.
The Odyssey Neo G9 57 is available directly from Samsung
If you’re lucky you might be able to find this at a local retailer. As Samsung notes it’s available at retailers nationwide. Outside of that you can purchase the monitor directly from Samsung and have it shipped out. And it should be available online at Best Buy eventually as well.
Samsung‘s Odyssey Neo G9 is the company’s first Dual UHD monitor and features a large, ultrawide 57-inch screen. Additionally it comes with DisplayPort 2.1 and is one of the first monitors to feature this newer DisplayPort standard. That connectivity allows for up to 8K resolution if you have the cable and PC to support it. Though you’ll also likely not find too much content that’s even in 8K to begin with.
Overall, this is a less pricey monitor than Samsung’s Odyssey Ark was at launch. These days though it’s about $500 less. If you prefer the ultrawide format however, the Odyssey Neo G9 57 is the way to go.
