Call of Duty: Mobile is about to turn four years old, and Activision is launching season 10 alongside the 4th Anniversary event next week to help celebrate the occasion. Season 10 and the 4th Anniversary event will launch officially on November 8 which means you still have a few days to finish out whatever you haven’t done in season 9.
Also worth keeping in mind is that there will probably be some down time coming up. Usually with every new season they pull the servers offline to do maintenance and update the game. So expect that to happen sometime around the 8th and ahead of the actual season going live. With that said there’s a lot to look forward to if you’re still playing this game. For starters, there’s a new Anniversary themed battle pass and that includes a new weapon to go with it. The Bruen MK9 – which will be a light machine gun.
Since it’s an LMG it’s designed for heavy sustained fire and should come with a large magazine. Activision says it’s also tuned for really good stability in engagements that are mid to long range. Players will be able to unlock this weapon after reaching level 21 on the battle pass.
Call of Duty: Mobile season 10 intros new 16v16 Ground War mode
New weapons are always a given with every season. But so are new modes. And this coming season there’s a new Ground War mode called Ground War: Breach. It’s a 16v16 mode on a brand-new map called Memnos Island that was made just for this mode only. The goal here if you’re the attacked is to move forward on the map by capturing strategic points. Once captured, they can’t be recaptured by the enemy team. Should attackers die they will respawn from these new points. Make it all the way to the end to win.
For defenders, the goal is to keep the enemy back by stopping the capture of points. Basically you just have to hold out and hold off enemy advancement. This mode also features a career progression system with multiple class options. Including Vanguard, Rescue, Infiltrator, and Technician. Naturally there’s going to be new draws for players who want to test their luck. You can read more about the new season and the anniversary event in the official Call of Duty Blog post.
